hmmm... If Trivium had stuck with this sound through their career, and tried to evolve this sound instead of creating all that bland shit in their later albums, then perhaps I'd still like them. I mean the song isn't great, but it's decent enough to have kept my attention through the thing, which is more than could be said for anything from their other albums these days.The riffs were fun and not rip-offs of Melodeth bands, the tone is raw, the vocals were more or less rough singing like you hear in many Crossover bands actually, instead of that screaming and Metallica rip-off singing they do now. There's also no clean singing or breakdowns in it. Why couldn't this band continue with this sound? WHY?!
