As an age 17 senior at Gunderson High School San Jose, CA: I had to rent a room after my mom moved to the Delta to live on her houseboat "Southern Comfort" with her boyfriend Rudy so she could physically recover from 2 vehicle accidents... I had no choice but to live with a much older man in his early 30's named Baltazar for a while and I felt I owed him sex for housing me... GOD rescued me from that "statutory rape" living situation when Heidi Margolis' mother asked her Bingo friend Eileen if I could rent a room with her and her husband Marty for $100/month.... Marty & Eileen said yes and I felt like a princess when I moved away from the older man's apartment into Eileen's very feminine and frilly guest bedroom... As I lay on my bed at night, this song played on the radio: GOD had rescued me from an inappropriate living arrangement and I felt "HIS" MAGIC POWER!!!

Got cable in '82 as a 13 year old. Discovered Triumph and others from MTV. I remember watching this video and being blown away. Here I am 46 and looking for it on youtube.

I got to see Rick probably 20 years ago at a small bar in KC. My buddy reminded me the other night that $12 was quite a lot of money to pay to see a bar band. I somehow talked him into forking out the cash. What an amazing blessing to be a part of that night. Amazing talent.
