Saw these guys support Silverchair, along with Everclear at a small gig in London back in 1997... and they were fantastic! Everclear and Tripping Daisy both stole the show from Silverchair really...Everclear were by far the best band that night, though of course Tripping Daisy were brilliant too, Silverchair were VERY young and very inexperienced at that point and it showed (they'd only just turned 17!). So the gig felt like a bit of a miss-match or mix up really... It should've been (in this order): Silverchair, supporting Tripping Daisy, and then Everclear.All three bands were promoting their latest albums, Frogstomp (still my favourite of Silverchair's, well, actually, I don't like any of their stuff after that!), I Am An Elastic Firecracker (my favourite TD album), and Sparkle And Fade (again, my favourite Everclear album by FAR! I find their other albums don't come anywhere close to it).Anyway, a GREAT gig that night! =OD

I also seen the tour with them and Def Lepard on the bill in Austin , TX. Whats funny is I was the only guy moshing during the concert (because I was drunk) and got harrassed by security who wasn't in the mood for my antics. However, I do remember Tripping Daisy having a better set. I think. Alcohol sucks for allot of reasons, and this is one, you act stupid and don't remember what the hell happened.
