I had noticed the solo opening phrase ;) i guess it's fair since it's been recorded in the same era... Do you know Pino's (fretted)solo on Private Earthquake off of Vinnie Colaiuta's solo album from '94 ? it's the most soulful bass solo i've ever heard (btw I've planned to do a vid of it soon)

Thanks god it's short: I'm a goat with solos! Right, no octaver there (only in the final part). Some trivia: the first notes are exactly the same as in Murder solo (Gilmour)!
