If he`d wanted to further his career he should have lived in USA or UK. Relocating to Canada was a backward step musically . Most famous Canadian musicians live outside Canada. Fact.

yes. Rod did help out, And Elton too. LJB's albums It Ain't Easy, and Everything Stops for Tea were both co-financed by them both. I can't help thinking, however, was that what Long John lacked; was not the money, but decent management. Anyone?

Good to see but I wonder what happened between the rail station and this performance. Long John needed some help over the years, I never heard Rod helping, maybe some one knows more.

It's always moving when musical artists sing tributes to their fellow artists. Those that have passed or those ill, or celebrating birthdays or anniversary milestones. What a fitting send off for a great friend and musician who gave a leg up when he needed it. Rod performed it in his own inimitable style that all of his fans have come to appreciate over the years. Could any of us ask for a finer send off when our time comes? gw shepherd Toronto, Canada

My father worked with Long John at central art in London. Told me many things. Good tribute
