Ya know... I have hated today's music. Idk why... there had been MAYBE 50 good songs in the past 5 years. That 10 good songs a year. What the hell has happened to music of all genres? This is a masterpiece and I don't know how PT didn't get mainstream except for the prog rock genre. Idk why Steven Wilson is not considered one of the best musicians of all time. Idk why music sucks so bad now. Take a good look at billboard/at40 and maybe 1 song is decent on each chart, if any. Prog rock, like these guys, never died out, unlike rap, pop, country, EDM, R&B, Reggae, hell, even METAL is starting to die out because the mainstream metal of 2015 has sounded the same for every single damn artist on their stations. Tool (Cannot wait for their new album), Dream Theater (Mike Portnoy really needs to get back with the crew), Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, Avenged Sevenfold (The best somewhat prog metal band right now. Avenged Sevenfold has many prog influences, but they are mainly heavy metal, unlike Dream Theater), Muse (Drones better not be like The 2nd Law. Drones looks great right now, though), 30 Seconds To Mars (A band that sounds better when not in mainstream influence, (Love, Lust...Faith anyone?)), Imagine Dragons( Not prog, but a seriously good alt. rock band). Where the hell are these guys when you need them?
