OH MY GOD!! right about the time when I was 4 before my parents divorce, my dad would come into my bedroom and sing songs at night with me, and this is one that sticks out as much as the elvis songs he sung ..lol...I thought about this song last night and thought....boy I would LOVE to hear Tori Amos sing this, and I was reading meanings of this song last night, and low and behold I found she DID play it and here it is...I break down no matter where I am when I hear this song...I heard it years ago in a walmart randomly and I was a blubbering mess and had to leave. My dad was around, but wasn't there if that makes sense,and my mom had her own issues. They both have passed away now, but through music I can look back and wonder what they were trying to tell me, want me to know etc and I THANK YOU for sharing Tori's live version of this song.
