Adele's a good singer, but all she ever sings about is heartbreak. Tori Amos has done more than heartbreak, and I think she even did a song on rape because Tori herself was a rape victim. In any case, I will always take Tori over Adele, and I will take this version over the original any day of the week.

I love the cure, but I LLOOVVEE Tori. That said I have always had issues decideing wich version of this song I like better. Only Tori could take a perfect song and possibly make it more perfect. I wanna hear Tori do this with Robert (oh god, shudders at the thought, heaven).
