This might be one of my fav covers of any song! (though I'm a big fan of this particular song..) I think a good cover needs to preserve the overall feelings of the original, yet add enough "voice" to make it unique (rather than just feeling like a lesser version of the original). I like in particular the clarify of the guitar. Your voice fits the song so well!!
