Considering rock and roll singers as their voices age like. McCartney, Jagger, Elton, Billy Joel even Robert Plant. Their range and tone quality has greatly diminished. Listening to Tommy James here he sounds literally the same. Same goes for Peter Noone. Tommy really sounds great. The only thing missing is the cool phasing effect on the vocal during the chorus. Pretty much ahead of its time back then.

This is my favorite song of his. Although, this stage version don't have the wobble like the studio one has, it's still a great song. And, I couldn't agree with you more, solomonsworld. Tommy James & The Shondells should be in the RnR Hall of Fame if anybody is. GB
