No way. Tommy isn't doing that stuff for the audience. That's just Tommy being himself. He's just truly enjoying himself. He's goofy like that off stage too. I saw him again(3rd time!) last week. And this time he did an impromptu tutorial/inspirational talk. Something that I've only seen him do in his workshops. And one thing he said, "Don't try to be everything to everybody all the time. Pick one thing you truly enjoy and stick with that. Don't be a people pleaser. Be a self pleaser."

Yes...I fully agree with you. TE is a very gifted musician and I too would rather he played music rather than wasting time with all that clowning around on stage Unfortunately, too many immature people feel they need to be entertained with silly little antics and mindless nonsense or they aren't getting their money's worth. You make a good point. Thanks.

TE is a genius... I am just saying... he needn't do all that clowning like a circus act. Give it some class. People come to see his immense genius not clowning. If they want to be entertained like that they can always go to the circus is what I am saying.

Yes...the ppl sitting in the audience paid a nice sum to get in and see TR perform. They expect to be entertained as well and amazed with TE's musical talents. And, TE seldom disappoints anyone.

Tommy is great, one of my favorite guitarists! Weather hes better than Elvis, Chet, or anybody else is pretty irrelevant though, they are all great in their own right, and probably respect each other (or would if they were still alive) for each's contributions to music and/or the entertainment business.
