I discovered the talent of Timi Yuro during the summer of 1962 or 1963, attracted by the album cover, Timi Yuro: Soul! I was drawn to the soulful young eyes of a young vocalist offering: A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening; Then I'll Be Tired of You; You Belong to My Heart; Nothing in the World; If I Didn't Care; If I Had You; There Goes My Heart; Be Anything; Somewhere Along the Way; Don't Take Your Love fro Me; Once In a While; and Stardust ... all on one album.I played it to death. I loved Timi Yuro and only wished that she had allowed her wonderful instrument to open up more, less abbreviations and cuts, less shouting, a bit more fullness of expression. But that was her style and she stayed with it.Here it is 52 years later and I see "Crazy" by Timi Yuro here. I never knew she'd ever ecorded it [some several decades later]. I liked it; but, for me - it's still Patsy Cline's song, simple plaintiff lament ... simply arranged and stated.

Timi Yuro, Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline and other female vocalist they are all great in their own time each have each own style and each listener have each own mode of liking we cannot compare them otherwise if we will then the producer is nuts the best is we just listen and find which one we like that suit or mode shall we?

A forum is where we agree to disagree. I find that I like Timi's version better. It's a matter of taste. The passion she brings to all of her songs certainly exceeds others who have followed. In this case, Patsy comes in 2nd. However I respect your reply --- it's your call.
