The band were asked to perform with a scaled down line-up, so Davey Lane (lead guitar) and Jen Anderson (Violin) were not able to appear on the show. It's a shame.
Lovely to have what we have though.
Hootie and The Blowfish were on this episode, and I believe they got to perform with a full line-up. Sometimes you have to find your own sense of justice in the world.

Also you can see at one point that Tim has one tooth blacked out (with mascara), in fact all three of us did, but Tim gives the big grin to camera 1 to show it off. That was also in protest at the fact that Hootie took up all but 3 lines of audio! And where's Hootie now?!12 years назад

thanks for putting this up. I saw Tim Rogers a few weeks after this was filmed, and he told me about all the problems they had regarding Hootie & the blowfish. They were made to scale down the band, they were also meant to play earlier but got bumped to the end of the show and got told he couldn't sing "whining sack of shit", so instead he improved "whining sack of hootie".
