This may be one of the only Thrice videos where there are no comments about how "the lyrics aren't about God and religion, etc. etc." Make no mistake about it, almost all of Thrice lyrics point back to scripture and the cross. This band got me through some very dark times in my life before I was born again when I was far from God. Thrice is amazing and God reaches lost people through their music whether those people realize it or not.

The lyrics are just so powerful......it's amazing. I never knew Thrice was a christian band. Neither did I know Like Moths To Flames (an actual band signed to Rise) got their name from this song.

finally, the kind of Love he offered and spoke about is timeless and endless love. that kind of love is not possible to understand or display without him. His commands are not things that hold us back from fun but for our own good from an omnipotent GOD who wants to have a personal relationship with us through Jesus. To do that, God had to sacrifice his own son, for us. That is the love Jesus spoke of, died for, and offers to his followers.

If he thought he was God and was Crazy, then don't listen to a crazy person's advice or commands. If he lied about the whole thing and mislead then he was the biggest liar in history. BUT, if he truly was LORD then all of his words are true. He didn't just speak of Love, but of judgement, and reconciliation to God through HIM. You gotta take it all or take nothing, he was either a Liar, a Lunitic or LORD.

C.S. Lewis said that Jesus was either a "Liar, a Lunitic, or Lord." the way he explained that is yes, even non believers like to hear the word "Love" and most agree with Jesus about his teachings on loving one another. But Jesus didn't stop there, he also claimed "Before Abraham was, I AM". Which was a clear reference to The God that lead the Jews out of Egypt and into the promised land. Jesus claimed to be God. And what value are words of love from somebody crazy? He was LORD.

you dont have to be a christian to understand his message, i have freinds who are aithiest but that doesnt meant that i love them less, his teachings were of love and peace, and i think if all of humanity, christian or non christian, would be better off if we all lived by his princlipal
