My first real love started dating a new guy before she even told me that she had plans on leaving me. I spent well over a year with her. She was my friend for 12 years before we started going out. I was very fond of her. She moved into my place and lived with me even though we were still both in high school.She was 16 and I was 17. Everything was as good as I had ever dreamt about. Until the day that she started hanging out with one of her male friends.. She stopped answering her phone when she was with him. When I asked her what they did when they hang out, She told me "nothing special" and right there i started to get suspicious.. I asked if i could come with her to his place, but got a no the second I asked.. I was crushed.. I once saw her texting with him while she and I watched a movie.. She told him that she was with a "friend", We had been together for over 6 months at that point. That brought me to tears. I tried being secret about my feelings. I even tried killing myself by jumping from a 4 story building. Everyone thought that i fell by accident. When we had been dating for a year she told me that she couldn't be with me any longer because of my depression. That brought me even further down.. And one week after that I found out that she had been dating that "friend" for a month.. I didn't see any reason to stay alive at that point. My life was in pieces.. But luckily for me, I found a friend that kept me strong. A friend that never left me. No mather how depressed i was. She stayed by my side. And today we are together. Have been for half a year without any problems at all.. I hope to stay with her. I would never survive one more heartbreak..
