+PrankZabba have you ever heard of the fender bass VI? seems like something youd like. i also would like one... but alas they cost infinite amounts of money i dont have. these guys dont use one but it seems up your alley. i believe john lennon actually uses one to play the bass part in helter skelter. you can find the solod track its pretty ratty sounding.

i want to know what their trick is. do they use strings that are of a heavier gauge, and then tune em lower to produce that loose string flappy sound i also want to know how they make some guitars sound like they are dragging a chair across a floor. questions that like have been bothering me for decades about them
