I was working at a Spencer's Gifts in the mid 90's when my best friend Lars put this disc in front of my face. I've been a fan since I saw the video to 'Ana Ng' when I was a kid in High School...seems like only yesterday.. This has to be one of their BEST albums, for sure one of my faves. TMBG never fails to impress. Thanks for posting!

this is an awesome song but +RIVEXNGLE is right, "Self Called Nowhere" is the best track off John Henry.......or possibly "NyQuil (aka) Driver"

A Self Called Nowhere is probably my favorite off John Henry. Then again, I like a lot of TMBG.

Six days until the concert!My main memory of this album from back in the day, besides the wildly differing opinions on their new sound that involved having musicians other than John and John playing the instruments, was buying this CD at Tower Records right before a U*Con board meeting and having to sit through the whole thing knowing that I had a new TMBG album and couldn't listen to it until I got home. I' m slightly less antsy at Grove business meetings these days. Plus it's not like I can find any CD I like at a brick-and-mortar store these days.
