@Melissa Peterson And Ching Shih - she was downright horrifying, and arguably one of the most successful pirates in history - she GOT AWAY WITH IT, never captured, she just retired when she had enough. Still, I presume the song is talking mostly about the "sexy pirate girl" stereotype in fiction, and yeah it's pretty hilarious.
