When we met up with the band, they didn't know that the shoot would be on the river and we didn't know their song would be about a river. Once we'd put two and two together, the discussion of whether songs beside rivers are cheesy was brief. Historically speaking, for whatever reason, songs about rivers tend to hold their own. This version of the Wooden Sky (Toronto) includes singer, Gavin Gardiner and violinist, Edwin Huizinga who played three incredible Calgary sets around their second album, If I Don't Come Home, You'll Know I'm Gone while on tour with the Rural Alberta Advantage.
