Great song as everyone agrees. One observation in particular: Roger's singing when Jimmy confronts Ace--"Aint you the guy" etc.--really conveys the shock and despair of realizing that his hero is not what he believed; those four lines are the most powerful ones in the song imo. You can hear the pain, the sadness and anger in Roger's voice: Jimmy plaintively asks Ace, "I believed in you, don't you remember me?"; Ace flippantly replies that he's moved on from "those crazy days" and hasn't got time for clueless groupies anymore. Grow up, kid; now get lost, I'm on the clock. Bam!
