Re. the questions about the song's meaning - I only just realised a few minutes ago and it's obvious with hindsight but I'd assume it's about the placebo effect and the ways that people are affected by it.Also, re. the soloing on this song, slimjimmy isn't saying it's the most complicated, technically demanding soloing, he's saying(or she is saying) it's raw and electrifying and brutal soloing. In other words, rock & roll. I'm inclined to agree. I normally hate guitar solos(and Steve Vai? Please.) but these solos are a rare exception. Especially the last of the four solos which is so mentally good it's almost comical.And can I just remind some of the people who've posted on here - if you respond to a display of enthusiasm from a music fan by patronisingly admonishing them and telling them they need to 'educate themselves'...that doesn't make you a proper music fan - it makes you a cunt.
