This past January, on a break from making their new album Heaven with Phil Ek in Portland, The Walkmen shot down to San Francisco for two nights of shows celebrating the band's 10-year-anniversary. The cake we made caved in, and all the frosting was eaten anyways so yours truly decided to celebrate a decade of one of the best rock band's in the business by having them over to Different Fur Studios to lay down the first live versions of their new songs.
