The image was taken by Steven Meisel for a spread in now defunct Joe's Magazine, created and edited by uber-fashion stylist Joe McKenna in the 90s.

Shut Out, the opening track on the last album of The Walker Brothers, was released in 1978. Written and sung by Scott Walker.

In response to Taylor Northern the bassist on Old Man's Back Again is the ever incredible Herbie Flowers.

Just as good, if not better, than any Talking Heads song. And trust me, I don't say this lightly.

According to the liner notes, Les Davidson played the solo. Jim Sullivan on rhythm.

@amico78 Big Jim Sullivan. Alan Parker & Jim played on all of the Walker Brothers records. Alan played the great guitar on "No Regrets".

@raggedsoldiers Alan Parker RIPPED that solo, do you know anything about the liner notes of Scott 4, I'm curious about who played bass on Old Man's Back Again

Just like probably quite a few in here I checked out the original version of nite flights because of David Bowie's version... And now i find myself listening to all sort of eerie music from the past. One of the many great things about youtube:-)

@amico78 The guitar solo on this was played by Alan Parker, it's on Wiki, and on the sleeve notes of my album. No Regrets the solo was played by Les Davidson, again on the sleeve notes of my album.

Couldn't be 100% but I think it's John Walker himself. He was / is pretty good. He definitely did the guitar on No Regrets himself anyway.

The foreboding of the Climate of hunter album...makes me think of Frank Miller's Dark Knight and Sin City art. I always hated Gary Leeds for ruining Night Flights The whole B-side of the LP isn't by far on par with the A-side, actually.
