Nice christmas tune and while i'm at it merry christmas to all of the lads and lasses i have either commented, shared to, bantered with , more importantly hung out with, and even more importantly shared a common intent with....Just keep doing what you are doing because it is making a difference....Thats my new year RESOLUTIONMy phrase for the new year is RESOLUTION NOT REVOLUTION.Revolution only brings revolution . So whether or not Jesus was born at this time of year pales into the background compared to its symbolism.That the of birth of the Jesus concept is also a concept which in many ways carries a parallel intent to ours. The more we interact by sharing , talking and educating our selves the closer we get to a resolution. I'll take that in preference to a christmas present...whoever is giving.

This was the first time I heard the Unthanks, flicking channels on the TV. I got goosebumps and continue to do so with many of their songs eg Here's the Tender Coming, Farewell Regality etc. I don't like their kid's stuff so much. Rachel has a very sweet voice.

@5554Jen Having seen The Unthanks, they sound and look Northern English. I totally agree with you. There is nothing wrong with connecting with our Christian heritage, either. It is called ethos. If Ethos makes you sick, then you are very narrow-minded and have little imagination.

In my, humble, opinnion, this was probably the best programme on at Christmas! I had it on Sky +, but box decided to crash! Have you got the other number they did, not "Betsy Bell", I think it was called "Tar Barrel Day"?
