This was their best album. Didn't have the most "hits" or the most affection from the casual Hip fans.....but every true Hip fanatic played (and plays) this one to death

Saw them twice in small American bars, that would hold about 1000 people. Gord Downie body surfed the first time I saw them in some small city in Michigan. Also was there for the live recording of Live Between Us at Cobo Hall and seen them at the ACC. They are epic and the best Canadian band of all time.

I remember seeing these guys open for Blues Traveler in Providence Rhode Island or was it Boston? Back in the early to mid 1990's. Impressed.

Best band in decades with rocking that sticks! These guys are a gift from our friends in Canada. This tune, with the drag-back chords at close, puts everyone who will listen to it carefully, right on-stage with these guys. Great effort. Thank you TH!!!

Whoever that 1 person was who voted down. I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you upvote now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you

Caught my attention many years ago. The first tune was Three Pistols. From there I was on a mission to hear and learn more. A rewarding search. How overlooked! Poetic and musical. Have all their stuff. Love it.

Funny to read native Canadians complain about being smothered by this band in their youth. I'm 63 and first heard The Tragically Hip at a bar in Philadelphia in 1991. I followed them for ten years till they ran out of gas at the turn of the century. Still, pound for pound one of the best bands around for this old geezer.

I wish the live version from SNL was still up on Youtube. That's my favorite rendition of this song. Copyrights and licenses be damned.

Wow man thank you so much for making Americans look like even more ignorant assholes like yourself. I know this comment was posted a year ago but time doesn't change the fact that you sir just showed what society is really becoming. So sad.
