The Sugarcubes had a lot of good music during their career. I hardly ever heard any of their music on mainstream radio, I don't ever know why. I'm guessing they got a lot of air play in their home country of Iceland, and rightly so.

In a wild daydream I saw myself in a cold sweat standing naked except for a loinskin and a pair of crude fur moccasins. My hair and beard was way out wild like to arm's length. I don't know what I smelled like. I was brown and furry/hairy all over. I had strange ornaments on. Shivering motionless on an icey stoney precipice with a stone age knife in the waist cord, and a long wooden spear in my upraised hand. Then suddenly the wild boar rose from its sleep under the bush below me and stumbled forward under its weight. I sprang like a silent lion through the air.... my spear crunching through it with all my weight on the upper end. It went through to the ground... then snapped off inside the boar. Then leaping up into the air... I grasped my knife and descended upon it again. After this I sat on the boar, savoring the heat of its body, and the taste of its salty blood. "Mmmmm" I thought, "this is the wealth of the field." I smeared the blood all over my body, licking it. "How good these riches.. mmmmm." Ahhhhh... this morning I awoke and suddenly, briefly spoke in tongues...
