When Hugh left...I thought it was the end for The Stranglers...when Paul followed him up I lost track of them since. But since Norfolk Coast they've caught my attention again. Baz fits in perfectly, and someone said before...Baz is no Hugh...but Hugh is no Baz. There's no reason to compare, they are both great musicians, each in their own right.

Do not dismiss this line-up. Baz is a riveting front man. He is somehow both menacing and coy. I just saw them three nights in a row in the US and they are as good as ever. Baz is no Hugh ... but Hugh is no Baz.

you are kidding.. take away JJB and this would be a cover band. To say this you never went to see the original band in its hay day...too bad they were way better than this.
