The likes of Hank Williams, Moon Mullican, Stanley Brothers (this is one of the best songs ever), Bill Monroe, Jimmie Rodgers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hank Snow, Ernest Tubb, George Jones, etc. That is country music meet blues. I guess the modern country is good in its own right but it is essentially pop and should be sold as such. Real country is bluesy music.
