@andrewkenworthy agree with everything you said. no other bands get close to the smiths for me, even the beatles. i've always felt it's a pity they only lasted 5 years, the smiths back catalogue isn't big enough :-( but at least nearly every song was brilliant, with the exception of a few.

@andrewkenworthy Morrissey and Johnny Marr were awesome, John and Paul or the beatles couldn't replicate em, I have been Morrissey and the Smiths since 84, I still dress like Morrissey when he was in The Smiths and and still have that same haircut! LONG LIVE MORRISSEY AND THE SMITHS!!!
