The Smithereens

Above all else, the Smithereens are a band that truly captures the sound of the time they came from. The 60's are alive and well in these four lads from New Jersey, and more so with them than other bands. Some say they capture the feel, some DO. And the Smithereens are the band that truly walks the walk.

effing LOVE this track--always have--and its the last track on the last album they ever got to put out (last album as of this date at least-you know the story was that they knew it was their last album and that they were very unlikely to be re-signed given how dissapointing their last 2 albums had sold, so they put this as their last track!) The album itself is wonderfully underrated too, but this track is my personal favorite of all of their tracks and that includes their classic era stuff too!
