HAPPY BIRTHDAY and R.I.P. Janet Frances Vogel-Rapp (Born June 10, 1941 – Died Feb. 21, 1980) An American vocalist with the group "The Skyliners". Janet hailed from Pittsburgh, Pa. The Skyliners hits were, "Since I Don't Have You", "This I Swear", "Pennies From Heaven", "How Much", "My Lonely Way", and a host of others. Janet's contibutions to the group are pricless, especially her beautiful high notes at the end of "Since I Don't Have You". Janet was survived by her husband; Terrence Rapp, Sons; Gavin and Kip, a daughter; Marlo, her parents; Mr and Mrs Jerome Vogel and her sister; Dee Dee (Diane). She died from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. She was 37. In 2012 Jan's son, Gavin Rapp, told her story in the indie film "Since I Don't Have You", which will be available on DVD in late fall, early winter 2014.
