Song from the New Wave radio station in The Sims 2: Open for Business

As far as I know, there is no "real" version of this song, it was made purely for the game.

However, you may find this background loop very familiar. That's probably because it is part of some audio editors and is sometimes used in popular media. One of those editors is Apple's GarageBand, and this loop is know there as "80s Pop Synthesizer 01" (thanks to flarn2006 for this info)

Also some say, it can be heard in GTA Vice City (but I haven't found it there so far)

PS: About the name - this is the only name I found for this song when I was uploading it. It was on some wiki page about The Sims, so hopefully it is right.

I remember when i was just 6 and everything in different language sounded exactly like this Simish...not to mention that it was same era during which this stuff was played on every western radio station (or at least those not dedicated to religious and political stuff)....:))

Sounds like the sort of song they'd give up on recording in any real language, because the lyricist -- the one band member who hadn't been involved in writing it -- couldn't come up with any lyrics in a language he (and it probably was a "he") spoke.

the best song in the game, so good youd swear it was real. they use howard jones, depeche mode, kajagoogoo. why cant this song be a real 80s track. it gives you something like de ja vu each time you hear it because you feel like it SHOULD be real, like you SHOULD know it.

Não tem letra porque é na língua dos Sims, o Simlish. Se você prestar bem atenção vai ver que eles não falam uma única palavra de verdade. É uma língua que inventaram para o jogo. Mas ouvi dizer que existe a versão real da música.

I know some of these songs are real. They took the song beat and sang in simlish. Look for The Sims 2 Too Shy, it's a song by the group Kajagoogoo.

It wasn't, the simlish language is a combonation of Navaho, Ukrainian, and Tagalog, and then it's played in reverse.
