I never really got a chance to get to know Cha. I've seen him onstage on countless occasions, met him a couple of times. The one Silencers gig I've missed in the last 20 years was the Burns Night, and I was gutted at not being able to attend. I would like to thank Andy and others for their efforts in getting the DVD together. Rest in peace Cha. You will never be forgotten. x

As a teenager i went to Cologne to watch Simple Minds & came back with only The Silencers in my head. To an impressionable teenager Cha Burns was the meaning of 'cool'. He was born to be a rock star & it was a very sad day indeed when I heard that one of my heroes had gone........ RIP Cha Burns - you'll always be a hero to me.......
