Dusty & the Springfields original version was great, but this song needed a trained soprano for it to be felt. The line, "High in the sky is the a bird on the wing, please carry me with you", needs a voice that can soar & carry us with it. Judith had that voice.Judith harmonises with guys, & then her voice soars. Just beautiful.
