The Seekers performing for the Newcastle (NSW) Telethon in 1997. I added the audio from the 'Future Road' CD to improve the quality and provide stereo sound. Usually, I would take out the original mono sound from the video, but on this one it seemed to add vibrancy, so I left it in. Pity I couldn't do much about the over-exposed video. I got this recording from a nice chap in Kurri-Kurri, near Newcastle. It was in the days before digital PVRs and broadband, so the best way to get a good copy was to take my DV cam around Australia and copy the footage direct from people's VHS players. How times have changed!

WOW! Just saw this for the first time. They are like wine that has improved with age. Put them up against any group from the 60's in 1997 and they would put them to shame. I can't get enough of her beautiful, clear voice. What a national treasure for Australia!!!11 years назад
