Rap music thirty years ago was actually pretty decent. It was cleaner, more innocent, and the lyrics weren't full of vulgarity and violence like today's rap. Sugarhill Gang, Kurtis Blow.....those were some of good rappers back in that time.

im 48 and even 30 years ago ppl listened to meaningless disco and rap shit. its not a question of age, you just have to remember that 90% of humanity is without personality, following trends when they are told to, eat what they are told and behave. if you want to be yourself it is going to be a struggle....but always worth it.
