I'm dead in sin, by nature a child of wrath, doing what I want to do, and all of a sudden I'm going to "ask Jesus into my heart"? Not what Paul says. Paul says that when I was dead, God raised me up. Salvation is God's doing from first to last. We are saved by grace, through faith, and the faith is a gift of God.Ephesians 2:8-9English Standard Version (ESV)8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.God doesn't wait on dead sinners; He gives spiritual life to those whom He chooses.This song is simply flies in the face of the texts listed above. It is false teaching.
