Rare performance at the last show of the original lineup of the band. Sung by Andy Sheldon. Bad video but excellent audio from the soundboard. Posted with permission of The Samples.

This is Samples history man - it's the last show of the original lineup. I wish I could get some of those 1997 shows... Had the shows from The Vic in Chicago - great shows!! Ker yer head up Wood...

This song is forever tied to my memory. My brother in law found a copy of the MP3 on the internet. I listened to it. I remember dancing with my little girl to it because it sounded so happy. I chuckle to myself as I write this, because like the narrator I am somewhat grim about the future. My little girl is 10 now, I wonder if she remembers this song as fondly as I do.

Man I miss these guys... been a fan for over 20 years and wish they were still together. Not that the various incarnations over the years haven't been great, the original lineup of Jeep, Sean, Andy, Charles and Al was simply magical. Miss you all. Miss the shows in tiny clubs around the country.

@Flyeye317 Wood, do you REALLY want this taken down? It's nowhere else on the net and we all LOVE it. You hear awful, we hear passion music!

This is an amazing video, it takes me back to this magical time when the samples original line up was playing music together. Still love the samples and always will but the magic of these four guys will never fade for me!
