The track is a studio recorded song featured on the mainly live album Flashpoint, and was composed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

The song features Mick Jagger on lead vocals, Keith Richards on guitar and background vocals, Charlie Watts on drums, Ronnie Wood on guitar and background vocals, Bill Wyman on bass guitar, Chuck Leavell on the organ, Bobby Keys on saxophone, horns by The Uptown Horns and backing vocals by Bernard Fowler, Tessa Niles and Katie Kissoon. The track was produced by Chris Kimsey and the Glimmer Twins.

The video was directed by filmmaker Julien Temple who also directed the promo videos "Undercover Of The Night", "She Was Hot", "Too Much Blood" and "Highwire", as well as the feature film Stones At The Max. Temple also directed the feature films Absolute Beginners, starring David Bowie, and Sex Pistols' film The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle.
