This was ALWAYS what we played while putting up the Christmas tree. I got the CD a couple of years ago since the LP is still at my parents', but without the LP quality, it isn't quite the same. Still, it isn't Christmas until I've had a sing through of this album. Thanks for posting the whole album so I can listen at work. :)

We had ours on cassette, but there were lots of Christmas Songs I heard on record like that too...nice comment!!! It's only Oct. 22, and not I'm going to have those going around in my head...kinda goes with the weather out there....

Thanks very much. The official version of this album keeps spitting out "can't play in playlists" error which is very Scrooge of them, and, in the Christmas spirit...they can go piss off. My parents liked Rog quite a bit and had a bunch of his records, but me, as a 15-16 yr old, was obligated to hate it :) But...I always sat on the couch and played with my presents with this playing on the home stereo...and...I miss it.

Something is wrong with this recording. The record is supposed to skip half way through the words "embracing all". It went "embracing ah..embracing ah...embracing ah.." untill my mom stmped her foot, then "all in happiness". I'm absolutely sure that's how it went.

So glad i found this song and "Momma Mary" b/c whenever christmas time came around, we would get so excited in school whenever we heard the following on the P.A. in the morning: "Please Stay seated for prayers" followed by this song or momma mary :D
