@Alpandaz: I think this songs about a guy named Jimmy, who's been at war and got home from there. He's sitting in a bar, drinkin' and remembering his past, and missing his lost love. He's feeling alone, because there's no one there, waiting for him (maybe some died, some moved away, ....) so he drinks and thinking about the good times, where a man could still be a man and be proud to use his heart.

JK did you see them when they played here in Sept? I was sad to miss -- but here it was the night of my 13th wedding anni and just politically unfeasible. I am in the U.K. at least once a year and the pop scene there is indeed superior to our pop scene. But the mod scene is kinda lame and not like the U.S. These guys are more likely to be followed by casuals than mods, who think themselves as purists and look down their nose at 'revivalists'. So where are you a mod in the U.S.?

ANOTHER fantastic band from the UK! Like the Jam, or even Oasis... they would never be big in Amerika...far "too British" for the "mainstream" crap that Amerika chokes on. Sure, there will be fans in pockets around (especially in the bigger cities- LA, Chicago, NY, and so on) but their "sound" and even their "look" is not "ready-made" enough for Amerika. Great bands come from everywhere... but it seems SO many come from the UK... I guess we owe you a pint or two?
