I would like to find John Felice...does anyone know how to contact him?....I had a band "The Drastics" (1978-1981) in Michigan....we used to cover "All Kindsa Girls" .....it was a great rock song!.....and real crowd pleaser!

I met Allen at a detox in '79. I was not ever part of his scene, I was more of an R &B fan, so he told me of his successes and failures in the music biz. He was short and sweet and had that bowl haircut. I saw him years later on Cape Cod when he was a drug counselor. I thought maybe I would see him again someday...maybe I will. Who knows? But I am very sad he is gone from this world.

Before Felice started the Real Kids, he was one of the original members of The Modern Lovers with Jonathan Richman.

As a young Bostonian, I am so proud that such a great band came out of the Boston area! Too bad I'm only 18 years old because I feel like I missed out on such a great time period for music. However, I did see the Real Kids at the Middle East in Central Square in Cambridge, just over a week ago, and they rocked. John Felice is a trooper, he was able to perform, despite the fact that he was under the weather.
