Marky really owes everything to Dee Dee for suggesting to Johnny that they hire Marky when Tommy quit. Marky wouldn't of made it in The Voidoids. Marky did take Tommy's drum style and perfect it though. It's fuckin hard as shit to drum that fast. I have tried to hit the drum symbals fast like Tommy and Marky did and it's hard as shit to keep up with Dee Dee and Johnny's down strokes on their guitars and bass. Marky hurry the fuck up with your book man. I want Tommy to write one too. Not time
