Saw Jimmy sing this song last night at the New England Doo Wop society show. He spoke about being on Dick Clark and how it was an all day affair. They measured them for suits and they had to wait around for a long time. He stated he was 17 and absolutely terrified. They had no say over what they could even wear. He also stated, he was so dirt poor...he had a cardboard cutout in the bottom of his shoes..otherwise ..his feet would be on the ground.Hi Eddie Black...long time no see! Hope all is well.

I first met Jimmy and the Passions in 1962 at my High School dance. My brothers group also had a member with the same name as one of the Passions...That person was Tony Amato...they also had the same manager Jim Gribble...Great days......
