Saw this tour in York and really enjoyed it - Phil Bates held it all together manfully in Kelly's absence,  But once PB left I think they really turned into a rather pale imitation of themselves. They are all highly talented in their own rights and respect to Mik and Louis for their contributions to classic ELO.  I just think their roles in this band are too marginalised for who they are. As for the 'who needs Jeff Lynne' comment, have you checked out his ticket sales...?  Seems there's a heck of a lot of people in need!
