#ProjectFunkUpGPlusALittle #FunkUpGFollowing +J.Chandler Hall gently chastising me for not posting enough harmonica music, here's another one of my big influences, from a little known but incredibly tight (and hard working) US band called *The Nighthawks*, with *Mark Wenner* on harp.I happened upon a Nigthawks album in a used record store in Cambridge, England in about 1983, and was (and still am) in awe of Mark's playing. I spent many hours copping some of his riffs, shuttling around on a tape I eventually wore out!Long story short, Mark became a friend of mine, and the Nighthawks ended up played in my living room for a house warming gig here in Huntsville, AL in the late 90's. I still catch them whenever I can, they are still going, albeit with some line-up changes. So, here is the much covered *Sonny Boy Williamson II* tune, *Nine Below Zero*, as done up right by the *Nighthawks*, on their 1976 album *Open All Night*.
