I was shopping in a store when I heard this; and I had to stop what I was doing to recognize the lyrics. I remember all of Fleetwood Mac's songs very well, and I like this cover better than the original. I've never listened to the original on Youtube, but I have looked up this one and listened to it more than once. Technically; there was a lot of dissonance in the harmonies, and a kind of looseness in following the beat in many of The Mac's songs. This version works that aspect very well.

You do understand that it's about musical interpretation and never everything has to sound exactly like the original when covering it. That's part of what makes music so good is someone's take on a song even if it sucks. They are free to put their spin on the song. If covers sounded the same as the original than there is no point in covering it. Enjoy it for what it is and stop bitching about what it should be...
