I shit you not, I had a dream about hearing this band from some locals in my dream when journeying through to my home in Maine. Then in my dream, when finally making it after so many ephemeral trips before in my dreams, my family told me there was a goat living under a tree hiding from a witch/beast. With the help of my family and myself, we killed her, and freed this cute-as-fuck white goat who runs toward me telling me his/her story. Finally, everything felt right as we peered over upon a setting sun in the horizon over the tops of pine trees across the lake.I wake up and immediately had to youtube this band, and by happenstance stumbled upon this song (I listened to this band less then 4 times). And it all made sense to me I suppose. This has been the hardest year of my life, working abroad, and almost killing myself (twice, unfortunately) because of my bipolar disorder and the depression linked to it, which was severely exacerbated by my tyrant of a boss who is a definite narcissist (threatening to fire me when I was broke for no reason other than to ruin my life for her own enjoyment, despite myself having the highest test scores within the school system). But I fucking fought through my problems, sought a doctor, kicked as much ass as I could before putting this shithole of a school behind me, where now I can go home. (JOKE IS ON THEM, because now they cannot find a stable teacher to replace me after forcing me into resignation. I love those kids to death, and its unfortunate it has to be this way. I digress). Anyway, There isn't a point in sharing this, but after hearing this song, I can't help but smile and wanting to share the synchronicity of this moment. I'm sure many listen to this song, looking for push onward and persevere beyond any turmoil within their lives, yet still feel uncertain. Well you're gonna make it; just keep on fighting. If I fucking did, you can too. Keep pushing forward and never lose your fire.
