Probably one of the best Moody songs that were ever made. Written by Mike Pinder 1969. The group had an absolutely gorgeous sound in the studio recordings. Pics show my sisters mum dad and dad's aunt, everything shot by dad in 1959.

*Mr Scarborough**Our sinful world has never welcomed those who would teach the truth, and sin is not the same as lust* *And stop saying Jesus* Said, *as if he were dead !"*Rom 6:1-2.... What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?Heb 10:26-29.... For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of *judgment and fiery indignation*, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died *without mercy* under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the *Spirit of grace?**Mt 18:3*.....And he said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."Have You Heard (part 2)" *LYRICS:*Now you know how nice it feels,Scatter good seed in the fields.Life's ours for the making,Eternity's waiting, waiting,For you and me.Now you know that you are real,Show your friends that you and meBelong to the same world,Turned on to the same word,Have you heard?Have you heard?Have you heard?Have you heard?Have you heard?

Nice...! How lucky you are to have such treasrued moments of your youth saved on film. Wonderfully done & w/ the Moodies adding audio texture to it all... Great memories & a great group.

@windstruckladyc dad never left home without a tripod, he hated non-tripod films more than anything else :-)

Did your dad use a tripod? Something to steady his hand? its remarkably smooth for amateur film..

1959, 500 km north of stockholm along the coast, take the E4 and turn right after 500 km, called hoga kusten, the high coast in tourist parlance. Spectacular scenery and on the Unesco list of world heritage sites. The ground still rises 0.8 cm/years ever since the last Ice age.

Thanks for commenting. Yes dad has been a pioneer and trail blazer in many ways, and not restricted to "home video". None of my peers can boast anything similar to this. Not only did he buy good equipment, but he also had an ambition to shoot like the "pros", to tell a little story, to plan the scenes, to direct the "actors" and finally to cut/edit the raw film into a proper "movie" that was entertaining to watch, at least in a family setting.

Your Dad did an awesome thing recording these slices of life from back then. I think he was ahead of his time. I've seen some of your other vids - this Moody Blues tune (one of my favorites), seems to fit naturally to them. Nice work by your father and you!

Im afraid I was a bit trigger happy, always itching to upload as quick as possible but it wasnt ready. Funny you should mention the sand shoe, talked with dad about it on the phone yesterday as I edited it. Turned out that he restaged what he did himself 30 yrs earlier in her age, he planted the shoe-idea in her and she acted gladly on it, and he let the cam roll. Funny the way you can get a new angle on things when you least expect it!

My plesure! Im not an expert on the live sound, its only what I hear on the youtube clips thats suggests that the fantastic studio sound might be hard to produce live, Ive never visited their concerts in person (sad to say)
