Take a look at this video on YouTube: a Scottish band that moved from Glasgow to swinging London. Less than a year later (1967) this, their most interesting composition up to that point was released; and though the single was publicly praised by Jimi Hendrix, it didn't chart highly.

Nice harmonies over cool psychedelic melodies. Diggin it. Is this just poorly synced audio or a studio track slapped onto some footage?

Hi Alan, Loved how you could hear JC kick in the fuzz box for both solos on the A side, and as i mentioned, the snare sound was incredible on B side & stood out for me.

Badfinger who were previously The Iveys were good friends with The Marmalade. They often shared roadies too as they were great friends too.

I am a left-handed guitar player and it is unusual to see other lefty's play. I am a Christian song writer but grew up on this music, and everything from Chopin to the Beatles, Badfinger, Badcompany, and other melodic groups.

No problem, yes we have had several conversations as I advertise their Facebook Pages a lot (I'm an Admin there) and I have also answered some of your Marms related questions. Yes, it is Alan on drums! :) Incidentally, Alan does have a youtube profile using his own name, hope this helps!

I'm sorry... I was under the impression you were! (We did have a number of discussions about the group...) But I have conversed with Junior Campbell on You Tube... I don't know, I just got the impression that you were Mr. Alan Whitehead, the drummer of the Marmalade, during their hey-day. Sorry. Anyway, was Alan W. drumming here? It's hard to tell.

My name isn't Alan. I am not Alan Whitehead the drummer?
